Separately, a flourishing market exists on Telegram, where groups with thousands of participants share comparison images, administration instructions and assertions of next-day British shipping. Sellers promote the substance there before redirecting customers to WhatsApp for transactions.

Retatrutide is an investigational injection developed by American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly. The drug targets three gut hormones – GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. Early trials suggest it could help patients reduce up to 25% of their total weight. Nicknamed the “triple G”, the drug is being promoted online as the successor to Ozempic.

Healthcare Experts Express Worries

However, doctors and pharmacists have warned that the distribution of what is still an unapproved medication in the United Kingdom is a cause for concern and could lead to users injecting substances of uncertain source.

When questioned whether the product was genuine, one seller said: “You can’t be sure.” Another provided a image of a alleged testing documentation. Not one inquired about body mass, medical conditions or previous experience.

Within these groups, messages show dark colored packages with Royal Mail labels, claiming to include fresh supplies. One message stated: “It took eight of us to load them this morning.”
